Es por esa razón que 2 Corintios 1:3,4 dice que Jehová Dios es "el Padre de tiernas misericordias y el Dios de todo consuelo". Una de las principales promesas que ha dado consuelo a millones de personas en el mundo es la esperanza de la resurrección. Y es que tenemos razones para confiar en que el Creador reparará los estragos de la muerte. El libro bíblico de Job 14:14,15 dice que Dios siente anhelo o desea ardientemente devolverle la vida a quien ha fallecido; quiere que ustedes tengan la perspectiva de disfrutar aquí mismo en la tierra pero en condiciones muy distintas con su ser querido que ha muerto. Jehová Dios, quien creó a la humanidad en un hermoso jardín, ha prometido restablecer el paraíso en la tierra mediante la gobernación de su hijo Jesucristo. En ese paraíso viviremos para siempre libres de toda enfermedad, vejez y dolor.
